Stranger Things is an award-winning American TV series directed by the Duffer Brothers and released in July 2016. Serving us a chilling mix of science fiction and horror, starring Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, David Harbour and Finn Wolfhard. The story revolves around strange disappearance of young Will Byers (Noah Schnapp). The story takes place during the 1980s in a fictional Indiana town.

Narcos is the true story of infamous and powerful Colombian drug cartels told through the life of Pablo Escobar, the drug lord who became a billionaire through cocaine production and distribution.

Star Trek Discovery, set ten years before Kirk, Spock and the Enterprise, follows the voyages of USS Discovery and its Starfleet officers as they explore new planets and new life forms. There are 15 hour-long episodes to keep South African's entertained over the winter.

One or Netflix's top thriller/crime dramas is Mindhunter, the David Fincher drama about the man who pioneered the science of profiling serial killers.
